Upon receipt a 50% deposit is required to start working on your taxidermy project.  If deposit is not paid within 4 months of receipt you will need to arrange pick up or have your items shipped.  We cannot store your items without the deposit.  We use a professional tannery to process hides and the following terms apply to Sweetwater Taxidermy along with our contracted service providers:

In case of loss or damage to trophies due to acts of God, power or refrigeration failure, fire, work stoppage, strike, sabotage, theft, or causes beyond our control, undersigned agrees to accept the return of deposits in full settlement of any claim.  All tanning is done at the owner's risk. 

Balance is due upon completion or the owner agrees to forfeiture of taxidermy work and it becomes property of Sweetwater Taxidermy if balance is not paid within 60 days unless prior arrangements have been made.  Turnaround times vary and we attempt to complete projects within 14 months from receipt of the deposit.  Lifesize projects are completed in 24 months. Rush orders are completed within 6 months of receipt of the deposit and Sweetwater Taxidermy reserves the right to refuse rush orders based on current workloads.   This contract is binding and trophies or work may not be repossessed until completion.  

Any alterations or changes to the project will be communicated to the undersigned before we proceed to complete the work.  Upon completion we will notify the undersigned via phone call, email, or text message to include pictures of the completed project.  Sweetwater Taxidermy does not provide shipping services.  Shipping services are paid directly to a third party and are not included in our invoices.  Upon completion we can help you arrange shipping or you may choose to arrange your own shipping services.  Sweetwater Taxidermy will only store your completed projects for 60 days after which we will charge $20 per day for storage services unless other arrangements have been made due to hardship.
